Long before official plant quarantine laws existed in India many plant materials were both imported and exported throughout the world. As a result of these expeditions many plant diseases were also introduced unknowingly they became part of our ecosystem and continue to be a menace. List depicting introduced plant diseases from other countries of the world is given below.
